Releases the exterior and disperses Wind. Used for pain associated with colds including head and body aches. Expels Wind Damp and alleviates pain, used for Wind Damp Bi syndrome. Balances Liver/Spleen disharmony resulting in bloody stools. Used for migraines.

Contraindications/precautions: Contraindicated in patients with blood deficiency with spasms and in Yin deficiency with empty Heat.
