Uses:
Promotes urination and drains Dampness. Used for difficult urination, diarrhea, oedema caused by stagnation of fluids or Dampness. Also for scanty urination in cases of Damp Heat. Strengthens the Spleen and middle jiao. Transforms phlegm and treats symptoms such as palpitations, headaches and dizziness caused by uprising of phlegm. Calms the Shen, treats forgetfulness and insomnia.

Contraindications:
Contraindicated in cases of frequent urination from deficiency Cold.
