Uses:
Releases the exterior and disperses Cold. Used for exterior Cold conditions. Circulates Lung qi and is effective for wheezing and coughing. Diuretic, useful for Oedema.

Contraindications/precautions:
Can cause heavy sweating and can deplete qi. Ma Huang can increase in blood pressure and cause tremors and other sympathetic nervous affects when used excessively. Must be used with caution in patients with deficiency
