Uses:
Releases the exterior and disperses Cold. Used for exterior Cold. Effective for wheezing in the case of Cold or chronic Lung disorders with phlegm. Moderates toxicity of other herbs. Warms the Middle Jiao. Used for exterior deficiency patterns unimproved for sweating.

Contraindications/precautions:
Contraindicated in case of Lung Heat and Stomach Heat patterns.
