Yoga Classes

Beginners, Pregnancy and General Hatha yoga classes with experienced instructors in our friendly relaxed, Christchurch studio.

  • Yoga classes are run as courses to allow progression and greater safety
  • Classes are small ensuring effective teacher student interaction
  • Private and casual classes are available by arrangement - please phone to book
  • Classes consist of asana (postures), pranayama (breathing exercises) and relaxation/meditation
  • Wear comfortable clothing and avoid eating 2 hours before class
  • We have mats, bolsters, straps etc. but feel free to bring your own mat if you prefer
  • The studio is open 10 minutes before class

Monday classes run from 6th May - 8th July (9 weeks - $135) There is No class on Queens Birthday (3rd June)
Tuesday classes run from 7th May - 9th July (10 weeks - $150)
Wednesday classes run form 1st May - 10th July (11 weeks - $165)
Thursday classes run form 2nd May - 11th July (11 weeks - $165)
Saturday classes run form 4th May - 13th July (11 weeks - $165)

Which Class Should I Choose?

Beginners Yoga
This class is suitable for all ages and abilities. The focus is on improving range of motion, developing strength and body awareness and improving overall health.

Intermediate Yoga Class
This is available to anyone with some experience of yoga, great if you have completed a beginner’s course and are looking for something a bit more challenging. Full inversions and more difficult balances are introduced.

Open Class
This is available to anyone with a little experience of yoga, great if you have completed a beginner’s course.

Pregnancy Yoga
A specifically designed yoga course suitable at any stage of pregnancy.

Mums and Bubs Yoga
Get back in shape and learn new ways of connecting physically, mentally and emotionally with your baby.

Private Classes
Private sessions are available for individuals or small groups and can be specifically tailored to suit. These classes are a great option for families or small groups of friends and are run by arrangement. Contact us to arrange classes.

Workshops
A great way to deepen your practice and understanding of yoga. We hold full-day and weekend workshops from time to time.
