Balanced Diet

Most of us accept that a balanced diet is part of maintaining good health. It is quite clear form all the life-style and diet related illnesses (e.g. heart disease, diabetes, obesity complications etc.) that we are doing a pretty average job as a society in achieving balance in our diets & lifestyles.

We are funny creatures!

We seem to spend half the time trying to make our lives easier, and the other half making it more difficult. Driving our comfortable cars to work where we sit at a desk in the air conditioning, work all day so that we can afford our cars and flat screen TV. Then we drive to the gym where we spend an other couple of hours making things difficult for our selves, lifting heavy things that we put back down, then pick them up again...^^
